Our Project

Our house opened its doors in 2016 and it is the only safe house in Costa Rica that shelters girls between the ages of 13 and 17 specifically identified by PANI as victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Freedom House provides a systematic emotional, spiritual and physical rehabilitation program. Giving them love, care and inspiration to recover their lives from those who sought to destroy them or the families that have sold them.

Our Challenge

Girls who have experienced the trauma of human trafficking and sexual exploitation need a safe and loving home to live in, so they can heal and recover. Our Freedom House is the only place in Costa Rica that shelters girls, between the ages of 13 to 17, who  are survivor of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. But, we have outgrown our space! There are girls that are in desperate need of our help and we have no room for them. With your donation, you can help us create a bigger housing space to shelter more girls.

Our Solution

Build a larger and better equipped Freedom House that provides a safe environment for our girls to heal and grow, providing them with an integral and residential care.  A home that has recreational and study spaces that helps our girls feel like girls again, and helps them find the hope they need to recover their lives from those who sought to destroy them.

A place where they will be surrounded by a team of professionals and caretakers to help them start dreaming again and live those dreams day to day. This property will be their home. Their only home!

How To Be A Part Of Our NEW House Project?

There are two ways you can help us get our NEW House for our girls, with either a cash donation or an in-kind donation that can contribute to our construction needs. We have two main donation processing partners. First, we haveMission Enablers International, they help us channel all US-based donations that require tax deduction. Secondly, we have BAC Credomatic's Yo Me Uno for all other donations.

Mission Enablers International 501(c)(3), is a mission organization that processes donations for missionaries all over the world, allowing donations to be US-tax deductible.
